EAST POINT, Ga. — One man has been arrested and several off-road vehicles have been recovered in East Point days after a burglary in neighboring South Fulton.

Several South Fulton officers converged on Gold Star Security Services at 2185 Sylvan Road on Wednesday as part of a search warrant executed by SWAT officers.  In the process, the warrant uncovered nearly $250,000 worth of Yamaha off-road vehicles.

On Monday, South Fulton officers responded to a burglary call at a warehouse on Westlake Parkway. Subsequent investigations determined that multiple Yamaha YXZ off-road vehicles, a forklift and two trailers were stolen.

A continued search for answers led to the Wednesday search warrant which uncovered 12 Yamaha YXZs, a forklift and the two trailers and "other items consistent with unlawful activity."

The findings also led to the arrest of 69-year-old Clarence Brantley on 13 felony counts of theft by receiving stolen property. As the investigation continues, more charges may be pending.
