GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The top-ranked school in the state resides in Gwinnett County, according to U.S. News and World Report, which released its 2020 Best High School rankings.
Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology was ranked as the best high school in the entire state of Georgia and Number 12 in the nation. The publication also named it number 13 among STEM schools across the country.
Two other schools in Gwinnett were ranked in the top 20 for the state including Buford High School (ranked 13th) and North Gwinnett (ranked 18th).
