Here's how you can keep Lawrenceville restaurants busy while feeding healthcare workers

Downtown Lawrenceville restaurants create ways for customers to feed staff at Northside Gwinnett Hospital.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A handful of restaurants on the downtown square in Lawrenceville are creating ways for the public to make sure that medical professionals at Northside Gwinnett Hospital are well fed while fighting on the front lines.

Cosmo's Little Italy is offering donors the option to pick from an array of menu items on a special lower-cost menu. The restaurant is delivering up to twice a day with a five order minimum.

Universal Joint is offering lunch bags that will contain a deli sandwich, potato chips, and fruit. UJ is also writing all of their donor's names on the bag donated, as well as on their new 'Wall of Thanks'. The local burger joint is also requiring a five order minimum.

Blue Rooster Bake Shop has created sack lunches containing a sandwich, potato chips, and a brownie. The bake shop is making deliveries for lunch and dinner, and is also offering the ability to send on the go snacks like Cookies and Gourmet Bars. The shop is charging a $10 fee with delivery of a minimum of five orders.

All three of the restaurants are also participating in the Meal Bridge program, an online effort to help people working in the restaurant and healthcare fields.
