LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett Police say they are investigating a domestic-related homicide in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
The department said it occurred at a location on Herrington Woods Ct. The department said officers responded shortly before 6 a.m. and discovered a deceased woman "in the doorway of her home."
Detectives and crime scene investigators are on scene, police said.
In an update, Gwinnett Police said they "had a lead" on the suspect's identity, but that he was not yet in custody.
A neighbor originally reported a domestic disturbance, police said. They also said there were other, unspecified occupants inside the home but that none of them were harmed.
