LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gabby and Cleo are sisters who have been at a foster home, until recently when they arrived at the shelter to find their fur-ever home.
Kennel Supervisor, Angie Hutchinson says they are considered special needs cats, "they have a condition called eyelid agenesis where a portion of the upper eyelids didn't form and it impacts their vision."
Gabby is the black and white cat, and Cleo is the grey and white striped cat. They are both about five months old and are sisters. Hutchinson says they are a bonded pair, and so the shelter would like them to go to the same home.
Other then their eyelid agenesis which may require surgery down the road, they are both healthy. Hutchinson says they would do best in a quiet home with an owner who has compassion and patience.
Both Gabby and Cleo are available for free adoption this week.
