LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — On Wednesday, April 10, around 2:00 a.m. in the morning, an unidentified male suspect approached a female shopper as she loaded groceries in the trunk of her car in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart located at 3435 Centerville Hwy in unincorporated Snellville.
A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and red jeans with a scarf covering his face, brandished a gun at victim demanding her valuables. She surrendered the keys to her car, backpack and smartphone to the suspect who immediately fled on foot.
A K-9 unit was dispatched in response to the call to potentially track the suspect. The unit tracked the suspect’s trail along Centerville Hwy and recovered several of the victim’s belongings apart from her smartphone which was later located by GPS tracking at another location.
The suspect is a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red jeans with a white stripe, black boots and a tan colored backpack.
