LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Heads up, baseball fans! Baseball season is just around the corner and the folks over at Coolray Field have certainly been busy during the offseason.
The Gwinnett Stripers released their 2019 promotions schedule, and it is packed to the rafters with an action-packed lineup that includes fireworks shows, theme nights, giveaways and much more.
“We’re so excited to announce a promotions schedule that will give our fans value and consistency,” said Adam English, Stripers General Manager and Vice President.
There are premium giveaways planned for 10 Saturday games as well as the addition of Swag Mondays where the first 500 fans will receive unique giveaway items. Other giveaway items include, Stripers-themed gear, mason jars, bobbleheads, even Bobby Cox Hall of Fame jerseys.
In addition to popular returning promotions like Sunday Fundays, there’s plenty much more being added to the roster that are sure to offer something fun for everyone. Additional themes including some of the following:
Margaritaville Night at the Park (May 10)
Star Wars (May 11)
PRIDE (June 7)
Pink in the Park (June 21)
Faith & Family (June 22)
Princess & Pirates (June 28)
Superhero (July 5)
First Responders (July 19)
and Fan Appreciation (August 29).
“Whether it’s Friday Fireworks, Saturday Premium Giveaways, or Coolray Family Value Tuesdays where a fan can get a $2 hot dog, there is a great promotion every night of the week at Coolray Field this season,” added English
The Stripers open the season at Coolray Field on Thursday, April 4 with a 7:05 p.m. game vs. Norfolk.
