ATLANTA — A new Publix opened in Buckhead on Wednesday at the site of the previous "Disco Kroger."
The grocery store opened at Buckhead Landing at 3330 Piedmont Rd. NE.
The 56,146-square-foot store features a full-service deli counter, produce department, Publix bakery, meat department, full-service seafood department and pharmacy. A Publix release stated that the grocery store will employ approximately 200 associates.
“We’re excited for the opening of this Publix location in Buckhead,” Publix media relations manager Nicole Krauss said in the release. “We look forward to providing premier service and quality products to new and existing customers.”
