No device found after Apalachee High School evacuated

Sheriff's officials found nothing suspicious while searching Apalachee HS after a threat was written on a bathroom wall.
Barrow bomb threat

BETHLEHEM, Ga. -- At around 10 a.m. Friday, students and faculty of the Apalachee High School in Barrow County were evacuated for a bomb threat.

Graffiti was found on a wall in the school stating that something would happen in the building Friday. The students were evacuated to the football field.

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office said it searched the school thoroughly and found no suspicious devices. Students returned to class and were served lunch shortly before 1 p.m.

Police are now working to determine the person responsible for writing the threat. Sheriff's officials said they believe it was a student.
