NORTH DRUID HILLS, Ga. — Transportation officials on Wednesday morning reported a milestone had been reached in the construction of the new North Druid Hills Road bridge that has had the overpass above I-85 closed since April.
On X, the Georgia Department of Transportation ATL account posted a picture of construction work and said that crews have now "successfully completed bridge deck concrete placement" on the bridge.
At the time the area was shut down, GDOT projected the closure would last 90 days.
