ATLANTA — Temperatures continue to drop in metro Atlanta and a couple of local organizations are partnering up to help keep underserved communities warm.

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta and Lenox Square are hosting a winter clothing drive to help those who need it throughout the month of January.

Shoppers can donate new and gently used children’s and adult winter outerwear, including coats, jackets, raincoats, hats, gloves, earmuffs and scarves benefitting underserved communities.

“Lenox Square is pleased to partner with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta for the return of our annual winter clothing drive,” Lenox Square’s General Manager Robin Suggs said. “We look forward to kicking off 2024 by giving back to our community and fostering a new relationship with an organization that has made a positive impact in Atlanta for over 165 years.”

Donations can be accepted at Lenox Square, located at 3393 Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta, in the mall management office located on the Market Level near the Dining Pavilion. Donations can be made now through Jan. 31
