WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- After nearly six months of investigating, Warner Robins Police issued a total of 71 warrants for what they call a massive drug ring.
Between Monday and Tuesday, officers made 53 arrests on multiple drug charges.
This comes after a joint investigation by Warner Robins Police, Perry Police, the Houston County Sheriff's Office, and the District Attorney's Office.

Captain Chris Rooks with Warner Robins Police told 11Alive's sister station WMAZ that they rarely see an operation of this size. He says they found over 70 people involved in buying and selling cocaine and prescription pills, including hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Xanax.
Rooks says the street value ranges from about $20 to $30 per pill.
Authorities collected enough bags of pills to cover the entire length of a conference room table.
These warrants are connected to five arrests made two weeks ago, when officers searched three homes in Warner Robins.
Rooks says the agencies combined forces to take on this larger case.
"An investigation like this, with that many people involved, is a good thing for the community. Drugs impact a community in many different ways."
The investigation is continuing and more arrests will be made. Rooks says as they make additional arrests, more charges could come up.
Once that is complete, they will hand the case over to the District Attorney.
