COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two victims are recovering in the hospital after a pack of roaming dogs attacked several people in Cobb County on Wednesday.
The attacks centered in the area of Beverly Lane off of Windy Hill Road where police said the seven dogs apparently escaped from a residence. According to a preliminary investigation, the dogs then attacked a neighbor before being chased away by the victim's son and others.
However, the dogs continued to prowl the neighborhood, according to police and attacked others.

Police ultimately arrived at the dog owner's home in the 2300 block of Beverly Lane and ended up shooting two dogs that were attacking a woman in the residence. One of the dogs died from the gunfire but the other is expected to live.
A total of five people were listed as victims of the animals which were later captured by Cobb County Animal Services. Police said three of them sought medical attention on their own.
Police ultimately charged the owners of the dogs - Jeremiah Gamble and Leslie White - in connection to the attack. They were each charged with seven counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly house.
