ATLANTA — More good news for Peach Pass holders - the program has now been expanded to drivers in 10 additional states, bringing the total to 18 states that accept it.
The expansion is part of a partnership with E-ZPass, an electronic toll-collection program, the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) announced Wednesday. `
“As customers plan their business travel and road trip options in the new year, they will now have the convenience of using their Peach Pass transponder seamlessly to pay tolls in our partnering states,” said Jannine Miller, Executive Director at SRTA. “This partnership helps us expand toll access for Peach Pass users in more states than ever before.”
This comes after eight states were added to the network last fall.
The Peach Pass program is available in the following states listed below:
- Florida
- North Carolina
- Indiana
- Illinois
- Kentucky
- Maine
- Maryland
- Rhode Island
- New Hampshire
- Massachusetts
- New York
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Ohio
- West Virginia
- Virginia
- Minnesota
- Delaware
Both Peach Pass and E-ZPass operate through an electronic toll collection system, which automatically deducts payment from holders' pre-paid accounts. Additionally, the partnership allows drivers to use their transponders, a small electronic toll collection device that adheres to vehicles, on Georgia's express lanes.
Officials added Georgia's Peach Pass is also interchangeable with Florida’s SunPass, E-Pass and LeeWay, and North Carolina’s QuickPass.
