DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A person was killed after being hit by multiple cars on I-285 northbound near I-20 in DeKalb County early Monday morning, according to the police department.
DeKalb Police responded shortly after midnight. Investigators believe the person ran into the road and she was pronounced dead on scene.
All of the drivers involved stayed on scene, police added.
DeKalb Police said their investigation remains ongoing.
