A young person was found shot dead following a crash in Walton County on Tuesday evening, according to the Monroe Police Department.
Police were dispatched to a crash around 7:50 p.m. near the entrance to Home Depot and West Spring Street. While officers were on their way, another call came in stating that the driver had been shot
Faybe'ann Ragsdale, 19, was found dead, shot in the head inside an SUV, police said.
Authorities added that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was contacted to process the crime scene.
On Wednesday, the Monroe Police Department announced it arrested and charged 21-year-old Kevin Rosa with felony murder in relation to the case.
No other details about what led up to the crash or shooting were released.
