CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Law enforcement officers are investigating a deadly accident after they said a MARTA bus hit a person Monday night.
MARTA police said a person was struck by a bus near the intersection of Garden Walk Boulevard and Highway 85.
Clayton County Police confirmed the fatality. The victim was later identified as 33-year-old Davin Guflord.
Authorities said he was not near a crosswalk when the accident happened.
They also said the area is not illuminated.
Clayton County police said the accident is still under investigation.
