ATLANTA — MARTA officials confirm that someone was sent to the hospital after being struck by a train Sunday night.
This happened at the Inman Park Station just before 11 p.m., according to officials.
The victim's identity is unknown right now. For the time being, MARTA is just referring to this individual as a "person."
Officials added that the victim was "leaning out over the westbound platform" and that the train "made contact" with them.
The Sunday night incident did not affect rail service Monday morning.
