Two students were taken into custody at McEachern High School Thursday after police said a picture of a gun was AirDropped to those inside the building.
McEachern High School principal Regina Montgomery sent out a letter to parents saying that the school operated under a Code Yellow as law enforcement searched for the weapon the students allegedly brought on campus property.
A Code Yellow is a state of caution and is not equivalent to a full lockdown.
After the students were apprehended, the Code Yellow was lifted and students were dismissed from school at their normal time, Montgomery said.
Law enforcement or school officials have not yet released any other details about the incident.
