LOGANVILLE, Ga. — Update: Police said the child is now safely back with her family after being located by the Loganville Police Department.
Officers said they were able to make contact with the toddler's grandparents, adding they believe she got out of the house on her own.
"We greatly appreciate the help of the community in helping locate this child’s family," the police department said.
It all started on Monday night when police said a toddler was found roaming the streets in Loganville near Georgia Highway 81 around 11 p.m, police said.
According to Loganville Police Department officers, they believe she is around 2- or 3 years old and released photos of the girl that have not been removed, given the child's age.
