Police search for Clayton Co. teen said to be violent

The teen's guardians told police she has made threats to kill family members.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Police are searching for a missing teen who is said to have the potential to be violent.

According to the Clayton County Police Department, 13-year-old Destene Corbin was reported missing after she left her home in Rex, Ga. without permission. She was last seen on Saturday, April 22 around 10 p.m. in the 7000 block of Biscayne Boulevard.

Police are hoping to find Corbin because the teen's guardians told authorities she "has a propensity for violence and has made threats to kill family members."

Corbin is described as a 5-foot, 125-pound teen with green eyes and black hair. Destene was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jogging pants. She has the letter "J" branded on the inside of her left arm is may be with another teen, 14-year-old Janiah "Jaycie" Green.
