The DeKalb County Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a suspect they say shot and killed a man at a DeKalb County Zaxby's last week.
Officers said they were called around 9 p.m. on Feb. 7 to the fast-food restaurant on Panola Road regarding a person being shot. When officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Kenyon Jones shot twice in the back. He was taken to the hospital, where the police said he later died.
Investigators said that Jones allegedly got into an argument with the suspect inside Zaxby's, and when he walked outside, he was followed and then shot. Police said the suspect is accused of physically assaulting Jones before fleeing on foot.
