Police: Grandmother pinned between car, gas pump in four-car chain-reaction collision

Police said the people responsible for the crash ran away from the gas station.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is in critical condition after police say a chain-reaction collision between four cars in a gas station parking lot led to her getting pinned.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at a gas station off Evans Mill Road in Lithonia.

According to DeKalb County Police, it started with a group - possibly teens - who allegedly drove recklessly into the BP gas station parking lot in a gray Chevy.

The teens' car hit a pickup, which spun around and hit a maroon Nissan.

That third car hit the woman's car, causing 61-year-old Stacey Moore to become pinned between it and the gas pump. Police say the woman's grandchildren were inside the small SUV when it happened.
