BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — The Bartow County Coroner Friday identified the body of a man found earlier in the week along Interstate 75.
Coroner Joel Guyton said the body of 24-year-old Mack Owen Griggs, of Forest Park, was found Wednesday on Interstate 75 going northbound, near the Emerson City exit along the Cobb County and Bartow County line. A family member shared photos of Mack.

The coroner was notified about the body at 8:30 a.m.
The case is being investigated by the Bartow County Coroner, Emerson City Police, the Georgia State Patrol and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities, so far, are not releasing a cause of death pending autopsy and further investigation..
