SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Sandy Springs Police said the 23-year-old driver of a red Porsche was killed early Saturday morning when it flipped in the 5300 block of Roswell Road.
Investigators said it happened at about 3 a.m. They said the Porsche left the roadway when it missed a curve. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the one passenger was transported to North Fulton Hospital.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner later identified the 23-year-old driver as Kevin Austin II of Roswell.
The passenger's condition is not presently known. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
Police said two utility poles and a brick wall were damaged by the crash. Their investigation is ongoing.
