SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Sandy Springs Police believe a doctor accused of child molestation may be trying to leave the country.

Kelly Thrasher failed to show up for an arranged meeting with detectives Monday.

He was arrested in early 2013 and charged with molesting a young girl during a slumber party at his house. This January, he was charged with practicing medicine without a license; Thrasher's medical license was suspended after his previous arrest. He was also accused of sexually assaulting a woman in his home.

Sandy Springs Police have now obtained warrants for Thrasher for identity fraud and second-degree forgery. Investigators believe he obtained a passport under a fake name, and they consider him a flight risk.

Thrasher may be driving a silver 2011 Acura MDX with Georgia tag PCS6407.

Anyone who can help authorities bring Thrasher into custody is asked to call Sandy Springs Police at 770-551-6900.
