SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- The cause is still under investigation after a fire swept through a Sandy Springs area apartment complex damaging multiple units.
According to Sanding Springs Communications Director Sharon Kraun, crews responded to Parc at Dunwoody Apartments on Pitts Road Tuesday before 5 p.m. That's where they found a two-story building already in flames.
Acting quickly, the crews managed to contain the fire to the one building ultimately impacting eight units. Crews know of only one person injured in the fire, a resident who apparently only had minor injuries.
Fifteen people were affected and are now being assisted by the Red Cross.
