Fire and rescue officials are currently searching for a 21-year-old man who has been reported missing just outside Red Top Mountain State Park’s swimming area.
The man was reported missing around 2 pm, according to a Georgia Department of Natural Resources spokesman.
Maj. Stephen Adams said sonar equipment is en route to the location and will be used Sunday evening if the man is not located before then.
