ATLANTA -- The patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston got a visit from a special guest who was there to help to spread some joy during the holidays.
On Wednesday, the "Treat You Better" singer made a stop at the CHOA campus to encourage fans to share their positive vibes and joyful moments throughout their lives and social media.
"We know a thing or two about stitches around here," CHOA wrote on their Facebook page. "But when pop star Shawn Mendes stopped by to meet our kids, we talked "Stitches" and his new album."
The visit was sponsored by Paper Mate, and so far nearly 123,000 people have used #SpreadJoy to share their happiness on social media.
