SMYRNA, Ga. — Cobb fire officials were called out to an apartment fire at the Westhaven at Vinings Apartments off of Cumberland Parkway Wednesday afternoon.
According to James Kapish with the Cobb Fire Department, crews arrived less than five minutes after receiving the call.
Images from 11Alive SkyTracker show heavy smoke and significant damage present in at least one building in the complex.
Fire crews and lines were visible trailing from hydrants and trucks to the damaged building. There was no immediate word of injuries.
