HOUSTON - Southwest Airlines hosted a big party as it welcomed passengers for its first international flights out of Hobby Airport Thursday morning.
Houston passengers now have another choice for an airport when it comes to international flights.
Mayor Annise Parker helped board passengers on the first flight to Cancun. A cheering squad of employees and a mariachi band turned the early morning into a party.
The terminal also offers a number of new dining options and offers passengers nine new international destinations.
