ATLANTA — The Lenox Square area reopened Tuesday afternoon following reports of a suspicious package.
Atlanta Police officers were investigating the package but deemed it to be not dangerous. Traffic was closed along busy Lenox Road during the afternoon rush hour, but the road has since reopened.
Police said they received a call of a suspicious package at 3445 Peachtree Road NE, the location of an office building in the Buckhead Heights neighborhood.
The police response had caused traffic delays near Lenox Square.
