Teen girl missing for more than a week in Floyd County home safe

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A teen girl who was missing for more than a week in Floyd County is back safe with her parents.

Caitlyn Boston’s mother posted the update to Facebook on Wednesday, and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office shared it.

Boston, 17, had last been seen on June 19 in Rome, and the sheriff’s office asked for the public’s help in finding her last Wednesday.

Her mother, Carmalita Boston, posted that Caitlyn was now back home.

“My baby is resting we thank all of Rome, all of Ga, all of these great states for proving that we are helpers one to another,” the mother wrote. “We Thank You!! All of our Law Enforcement agencies, my Highland Rivers Family. We Thank You!!”
