ATLANTA — Atlanta-based feminine care products company, The Honey Pot Co., has a deal in place to be acquired by Compass Diversified Holdings.
In an announcement Tuesday, Compass said the acquisition, valued at $380 million, could close in February. Compass is known for a portfolio of middle-market consumer-branded and industrial businesses.
How it started
The Honey Pot Co. came from an idea that started in an apartment kitchen 12 years ago. It was co-founded by CEO and Chief Innovation Officer Beatrice Dixon, who will remain in those roles. Dixon’s business revolves around “normalizing the normal” when it comes to topics such as the female body, menstruation, and sexual wellbeing, according to the announcement.
