Fiancé of Tiffany Foster indicted in her murder, records show

Newnan mother Tiffany Foster had been missing for more than 2 years before she was presumed dead by investigators.

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — The fiancé of Newnan mother Tiffany Foster has been indicted on 10 charges, including malice murder, in connection to her 2021 disappearance and subsequent death, according to records from the Superior Court of Coweta County.

A Coweta County grand jury formally indicted Reginald Robertson on Monday. He faces charges including kidnapping, burglary in the first degree, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, rape, malice murder, concealing the death of another, financial transaction card fraud, theft by taking and forgery in the first degree, according to the indictment.

Investigators previously said Foster's body had not been recovered but the evidence collected in the case confirmed the mother was presumed dead. She had been missing for more than two years.

Foster, who was also known as Tiffany Starks, was 35 years old when she disappeared on March 1, 2021. She left her apartment to go shopping but never returned home -- she missed class, work and a flight to Texas in the days following. Her car was found with her purse and cell phone inside a week later on March 8, 2021.

Robertson, who had been living with Foster, reported her missing. He was later arrested for allegedly stealing Foster's car and arrested a second time for kidnapping and aggravated assault charges unrelated to Foster's disappearance, authorities previously said.

Back in August, Foster's family said Robertson's arrest had brought some closure but they still have many questions.

"He ripped away a light in our family," Kimberly Bryan, Foster's sister, previously said. "To have to look my niece in the face and my nephews - and we don't have any answers to tell him."
