Two victims were discovered after a fire at a NW Atlanta church.

ATLANTA — Two people were found dead following a fire late Tuesday at a northwest Atlanta church. After battling the blaze for hours, the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department confirmed the discovery of their bodies.

Fire crews responded to Amazing Grace Church at 608 Cameron Alexander Blvd NW just before midnight. The structure was fully engulfed, with portions of the roof collapsing during the incident. Here is what we know.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, the fire was reported at 11:27 p.m. Crews arrived minutes later and worked overnight to extinguish the flames.
