WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two people are dead after a crash involving a motorcycle in Walton County on Sunday morning, Georgia State Patrol said.
According to GSP, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at GA 10 at Youth Monroe Road shortly after 11:30 a.m. A black Harley Davidson trike motorcycle was going east on GA 10, and a Chevrolet 2500 towing a trailer was stopped on Youth Monroe Road.
GSP said that the Chevrolet 2500 truck made a left turn onto GA 10 into the path of the motorcycle. The Harley Davidson then allegedly hit the truck's driver's side.
The motorcycle driver, Daniel Miller, and passenger, Melissa Miller from Monroe, were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to GSP.
The crash is still under investigation.
