UNION CITY, Ga. -- Investigators believe a fatal shooting in Union City was the result of a domestic dispute.
The victim, 42-year-old Rhonda Williams, was found shot to death at around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday inside her home in the 4700 block of Main Street. Union City Police Det. Gloria Hodgson said Williams was shot multiple times after arguing with her ex-husband.
The husband, 53-year-old William Lee Sankey, was arrested and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, false imprisonment, and firearm possession. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
