ATLANTA (WXIA) – Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan was a Liberian national who flew to the United States from west Africa. One local US representative says for now, flights from the west African nations of Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia should stop, despite the new airport screenings.
"We should learn from experience and err on the side of caution," said US Rep. David Scott (D-GA 13th). "Do not let any more people into this country who are coming from infected areas, putting our people here in great danger."
