The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating a deadly vehicle accident that happened this weekend.
According to police, officers responded to Oak Grove Rd. near Kirkland Dr. on Feb. 24 around midnight in reference to a single-vehicle accident. The police said that the driver and two passengers were taken to a hospital with various injuries, and one of the passengers later died.
The police department said the victim who died was 18 years old, and the investigation is ongoing.
