The track 'Welcome to Atlanta' has become a theme song for the city since its release in 2001.

Now Jermaine Dupri and Ludacris have teamed up again to release a remix to the popular song specifically for the Atlanta Falcons just in time for the 2018 football season.

"To be able to do a Falcons version of our hit song "Welcome to Atlanta" is an opportunity of a lifetime not just because we have a lasting impression and a timeless song that people coming to Atlanta identity with, but now we have the opportunity to do the same thing for our team and the Falcons that we've been riding for so long,' Ludacris said.

"Each person feels a different way about being a Falcons fan. In ATL, we wear the Falcons as a badge of honor; If you rep the A-Town, then you feel just like me – the pain of not making it to the top over and over again," said Dupri.

“I want this song to go on and on forever, and people from Atlanta put their arms around it and just sing it to each other. At the same time, for all of the teams (coming to play here)…Welcome to Atlanta," he said.
