ATLANTA -- Atlanta police have confirmed that a man has died after a shooting, Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the 400 block of Illinois Avenue NW.
Zone one investigators reported to the scene and the victim, an unidentified male, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with a gunshot to the chest.
The victim died just after 4 p.m., police said.
