PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Police are investigating after a woman was confronted by a masked suspect while walking on a trail near an apartment complex in Peachtree City last week.
It happened last Friday around 6:30 p.m. near Renew Braelinn Apartments, police said. Officers were called out to a mixed-use path near the complex after a woman said she was involved in an altercation with a masked man.
Peachtree City Police said there was an attempted theft by a "teenage male suspect" on the walking trail. During the altercation, the woman told police that she took the suspect's mask off, and he ran toward Balmoral Village Apartments.

Police said they have no information that there is an ongoing threat to the public..."
