DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is in critical condition after being rescued from a fire at a Dekalb County home early Friday morning.
Fire officials say the blaze started just before 2 a.m. on Fair Lane.
Firefighters were able to rescue the woman, but two dogs died as a result of the fire.
The fire has been extinguished, but there is no word on the cause. Investigators believe the fire started outside the home.
