WEST POINT, Ga. (AP) - Federal officials are investigating the death of a worker at a Kia assembly plant worker in west Georgia.
Details on how the worker was killed at the plant in West Point, Georgia on Tuesday haven't been released and Kia officials said in a statement that the incident is under investigation.
U.S. Department of Labor spokeswoman Lindsay Williams tells the Ledger-Enquirer of Columbus that the representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the worker's death.
The employee's identity hasn't been released.
