$800 million jackpot resets after winner matches Mega Millions ticket

Someone back in Georgia won $10,000, and others won smaller prizes.

ATLANTA — The Mega Millions jackpot was won last night, not by a Peach State player but one mile and miles away in Texas. 

Someone back in Georgia won $10,000, and others won smaller prizes. 

The winning numbers were 1, 2, 16, 24 and 66, with a yellow "Mega Ball" number of 6 and a Megaplier of 4x.

According to the Mega Millions website, there were no jackpot winners anywhere in the country in the latest drawing.

The jackpot now resets to $20 million, with the drawing slated for Friday at 11 p.m. ET.
