ATLANTA -- Police believe a man reported dead in northwest Atlanta may have been electrocuted.
According to Atlanta police spokesperson Stephanie Brown, police arrived to the 1300 block of Northwest Drive to a report of a person down. They arrived to find a man dead.
Authorities believe the victim came into contact with a live wire which ultimately led to his death.
Details are still limited and police have not yet confirmed whether or not the death is directly storm-related. However, snowfall like the kind experienced in the region on Friday is known to contribute to downed trees and power lines.
The victim has not yet been identified.
