DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — His family is asking for answers after the father of four was killed at a motel in DeKalb County.
Officials said it happened at the Gulf American Inn Motel shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3.
Police said they are reviewing surveillance footage to gain more insight because it's unclear if he was a guest at the motel or was staying with a guest.
25-year-old Antonio Neville Jr. was shot at least ten times and taken to a local hospital, where he later died, according to DeKalb County Police.
11Alive spoke to his family who says the father of four was an up-and-coming artist with a recording company called Real Family of Hustlers.
Neville was lovingly refereed to as "Buwopp".
"He knows a lot of people, he touched a lot of lives," a family member told 11Alive's Lindsey Basye.
A candlelight vigil was held on Tuesday, before he was laid to rest a few days later. His loved ones gathered to release balloons in his honor.
"He always helped everyone and we want justice for him," said the family member.
A witness on scene told police that she saw a light blue sedan with a black male and female suspect.
"Right now we're reviewing security video, trying to see if there are any vehicle descriptions that we can be looking for, anything like that," said Sgt. Adam Quigley of DeKalb Police.
The family is asking anyone who knows information about Neville's death to come forward so they can get some closure.
