CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are on the hunt for a man accused of leaving more than 100,000 illegally-dumped tires throughout Clayton County.
Donald Deon Leverette, 35, is wanted by authorities after they spotted him on surveillance video on one of his many alleged illegal tire-dumping runs.
According to Clayton County Police, witnesses told investigators Leverette would pay people to rent U-Haul trucks under their names, then he would use the trucks to dump the tires throughout the county.
The county has since issued warrants for Leverette's arrest on two counts of felony dumping. The warrants comes as authorities crack down on the illegal practice in the county.
If anyone has information on where Leverette could be, they're asking for them to call police, immediately.
