Meet the little girl with the big voice who won hearts on 'America's Got Talent'

Meet the little Georgia girl with the big voice!

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- While it may not have ended with a win, the little girl with a big voice who won over hearts across with the country definitely left her mark on NBC's America's Got Talent.

Angelica Hale completely nailed Andra Day's "Rise Up" with her audition on the show back in June.

Hale spoke with 11Alive's Melissa Long about the performance shortly after.

"I think I think pretty good," Hale said. "I was so nervous when I got on there." (Watch the interview)

From there, Angelica has continually impressed the judges, sailing through each round, finally landing a spot in the show's finale show on Sept. 20. After more than 50 million votes, she ended the competition as first runner up, but she's still a winner in Atlanta's hearts.

The 9-year-old from Johns Creek, Ga. has been singing since she was a toddler.

Back in 2013, Hale had a kidney transplant from her mother. 11Alive chronicled her journey:

Hale still makes regular trips to doctor, but has persevered and perfected her voice.
